A high-ranking Russian general has been killed following an detonation in Moscow, according to official statements.
The event took place on Monday morning when an bomb placed beneath a vehicle exploded, causing the death of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov.
Sarvarov held the position of the head of the armed forces' operational training department.
