Comedian and author David Walliams lost his contract with book publisher.
Prolific children's author and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the firm commented: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the move was made after an review of claims about conduct deemed unsuitable involving young women.
The publisher did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Prolific Literary Career
Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over more than 60 million copies internationally in five dozen languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
He has published more than 40 books combined, which features a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.

His initial claim to fame came on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE back in 2017 honoring his contributions to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This move occurs subsequent to the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO in October.
