Real Madrid's winger Extends Regret to Los Blancos Devotees

The attacker has scored 5 finishes in 10 Spanish league outings this season.

Los Merengues winger Vinicius Jr has said sorry to fans for his conduct when taken off in Sunday's fiery El Clasico victory.

He was replaced in the 72nd minute and showed his disappointment by going straight off the pitch.

The Brazilian eventually reappeared to the dugout and, following his side's 2-1 win, attempted to approach Barça's opposing player during contentious final whistle incidents.

"Now I want to express regret to all the supporters for my response when I was replaced in the big match," Vinicius wrote on his account.

"Just as I have previously expressed during the latest practice, I also want to apologise again to my colleagues, the organization, and the club president.

"Occasionally emotion gets the better of me because I constantly desire to win and assist my team. My competitive character stems from the love I hold for this team and all it represents."

He joined Real from Brazil in recent years for millions and has notched 111 goals in numerous matches.

But his future in the Madrid is uncertain with rumors in the past few months indicating that Los Blancos would consider permitting the player depart if they obtained a appropriate bid.

When Vinicius was replaced on Sunday, broadcast footage from broadcaster the service picked him up saying: "It's always me! I'm exiting the club! It's preferable if I go, I'm leaving."

In his most recent message on X, he stated: "I commit to keep striving every second for the welfare of the club, as I have done since the initial arrival."
